What is a Zaftique? Well, frankly it's a word I made up.

Zaf - comes from a German and Yiddish word
zaf·tig or zof·tig
1. Having a full, shapely figure.
2. Juicey

tique - comes from the French Word
bou·tique
1. A small retail shop that specializes in gifts, fashionable clothes, accessories, or food.

I absolutely loved the idea of bringing fashionable clothes to us "juicey" women!

With that in mind, Zaftique's goal is to bring you fresh, fun, fashions from designers who know what it means to be big, beautiful, women in a world that has ignored their fashion needs for too long! Ever been in a plus-size store and asked yourself "who the hell designed this?" 95% of the time, the answer to that question is, "NOT a large women"! It only makes sense that a woman that lives with the day-to-day reality of being "large and plus-size" understands the need for comfort, functionality, style, and how to emphasize our unique beauty.

Zaftique is starting off with 3 creative designers, all with our own unique flair for designs and style. Moving forward our hope is to discover new talented designers to add to our creative family, bringing you even more fabulous fashions and daring designs to add to your closet.
