The reasons why I founded this company was because I was unhappy with the retail industry. I was tired of asking that "famous" question. "Do you carry pluse sizes?"

It""s important that we bring to the forefront that "plus-size" describes the "majority" of women consumers

Over 68% of the female population wears a size 12 or larger and over half of all US women wears a size 14 or larger. But if the majority of women are larger than a size 12, then why are we considered the minority. Women of size are businesswomen, entrepreneurs, lawyers, and decision makers.

The mission of the Unforgettable Woman is to Empower Plus size women by helping each individual woman discover and celebrate her unique essence through fashion events, workshops, and seminars that address health, fitness, fashion, beauty and style aimed at increasing a positive self image.

The Unforgettable woman is also commited to working with organization such as The American Cancer Society and Sisters Network, Richmond, Virginia an African American breast cancer survivorship organization.

Over 43,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year-- that is one mother, sister, daughter, or friend every 12 minutes. We must "Stop the Silence" of breast cancer by supporting "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
